Diwali Mela

Our second Diwali Mela was held in the parking lot across the Hindu Community Center on Sunday, October 15, 2006.  Naveen Shikarpuri and Sena Lund did a great job in putting this function together.  By far this was our best effort in fundraising.  After expenses we netted over $12,000.  Over 3,000 people showed up during this beautiful fall day, where they enjoyed great food, great music, great friends, good vendors and great games and rides for kids.
