On June 24, 2007 over 500 devotees attended and witnessed the first murti Staphna at the Hindu Community Center.  The Center was formally named Asamai Temple and Hindu Community Center.  We had a detailed function that promptly started at 10:00 with Rath Yatra, that was followed by a hoven.  Hoven was followed by Puja and pran prathishta by our Pundits, Shri Pundit Shukla Ji, Shri Swami Krishna Pranami Ji and Shri Madan Jha.  Swami Kamal Vedanti delivered a pravachan, which was followed by recognition of our elders and younger members for their contributions over the years to our community.

The function was concluded by bhajans by Bhajan Samrat Kumar Raj Gandharva.  Several pictures from the function are uploaded here.
